Introduction :
Android is an open source operating system used for smart phones and tablet computers. The operating system is based on Linux kernel. It is developed by Google first and later the Open Handset Alliance (OHA). Java language is used to develop android code although other languages can also be used.
Android Market :
Android market is online app store run by Google, through apps can also be downloaded from third party sites. As per the survey of Dec 2015 there are more than 19, 00,000 android applications and widgets available on the Android Market.
